Champion ribbons at Atlanta Winter Classic I

We are so pleased to announce that our stallion prospect, Smoke Tree Poetry in Motion, was a big ribbon winner this week! We decided to take him to the Atlanta Winter Classic I (an “A” rated USEF Hunter/Jumper show) in Alpharetta, Georgia for his first show, and he did not let us down!

He was entered in two “Pony Hunter Breeding Yearling” classes and placed FIRST in both, which qualified him to move forward into the “Best Young Pony” classes. The Best Young Pony (BYP) classes are only open to the first and second place winners of each age group (yearling, 2yo, and 3yo). The judge(s) then picks the pony he/she feels is the best of all age groups and recognizes it as Best Young Pony for the entire show. Poet was awarded DOUBLE Champion Best Young Pony under both judges, which we feel is a wonderful accomplishment for his first time out.
